The Pro Hygiene Collection | Cleanser for your brushes and your makeup.

24 October 2013

I found these whilst I was browsing the Cult Beauty website, that browsing session quickly changed into a buying session.

Firstly a bit about the brand... The Pro Hygiene Collection is created by The Pro Makeup Shop. It was developed to help professionals quickly clean and sterilise their brushes and tools. Both of these products kill 99.9% of bacteria whilst also dissolving oils and residue that accumulates on brushes.

Having blemish prone skin I like to clean my makeup brushes regularly, but it probably wasn't happening as often as it should as it is quite an effort to wash them properly and they take forever to dry, eugh. The Makeup Brush Cleanser from The Pro Hygiene Collection enables you to quickly and easily clean your brushes in between applications, although I would still recommend doing a thorough, deep cleanse of your brushes every 1 or 2 weeks. This product is gentle, yet effective, so it removes bacteria, oils and product build up whilst still being gentle to your brushes and therefore it won't reduce their lifetime. You simple just spray once or twice (depending on the brush size) onto the brush, dab it out on a cloth or tissue (I usually use a bit of kitchen roll as it is stronger than tissue) and then the product comes off onto the tissue and within 60 seconds your brushes will be free of bacteria.

The other product in The Hygiene Collection is the Makeup Antibacterial Spray. This wasn't something that I had ever thought about before really...all the bacteria building up my powders, blushers, bronzers and tools such as tweezers and eye lash curlers. Sure I am paranoid about bacteria on my brushes...but why had I never though about bacteria on the actual products! Well this products sorts all that out. A quick spritz onto your powders, creams or whatever and within 60 seconds it is dry and has killed 99.9% of the bacteria that it was harbouring.

These products are fuss-free, reasonably priced and they just make the whole process of cleaning brushes, products and tools so easy. You need to get them!
